OFFICIAL SCHOOL START & ANZAC DAY

G'day from Step One College

After orientation on Monday, all new students will start "officially" today and will meet their new teacher(s) and classmates.

Tomorrow (Wednesday, 25/04), there is Anzac Day, a public Holiday in Australia. School and the majority of the shops will be closed.

Anzac Day marks the anniversary of the first major military action fought by Australian and New Zealand forces during the First World War. ANZAC stands for Australian and New Zealand Army Corps. The soldiers in those forces quickly became known as Anzacs, and the pride they soon took in that name endures to this day. If you are interested in reading more about the article. NEW WEEK, NEW STUDENTS, NEW COURSE

Good morning from rainy Sydney!

Sydney can also show its bad face...it was raining the entire night but Aussies are happy about that, Sydney needs water! But fortunately normally it clears up within a couple of hours and the whole beauty appears again.

Monday = orientation day = 15 new studens this week and we have started our IELTS course; there is a Preparation for IELTS - course in operation.

Welcome to Step One College

G'day!

Enrolment day at Step One College. 6 new students are enrolling today; and while I am writing the blog, students are writing their entrance test. The test result is the key to your English Proficiency Level...and therefore with your result, we are able to put you in the right class. At the moment we have 4 different levels - Elementary, Pre-Intermediate, Intermediate (2 classes) and Upper-Intermediate.

Also, we are starting with IELTS courses from next week onwards. Have a look at our web site and gather more information about IELTS.

Sydney is the place 2 be! Just another attraction past...the Royal Easter Show, a huge funfair took place at Sydney Olympic Parks...and of sure many other events will take place in the near future. Sydney never sleeps!
