Movie Review: Ratatouille

Two weekends ago, I saw the animated rat film, Ratatouille. It's about Remy the rat who has a special talent for smell and taste which inspires him to cook. Then as fate brings him to his idol chef's restaurant, he soon partners with the restaurant's garbage boy and go on a journey to become the greatest chef in Paris.

Ratatouille has a great storyline, very enjoyable to watch and quite hilarious.

I'd recommend 4/5

Moon Festival

Every September, the Chinese celebrate a tradition known as the Moon Festival. This year it will be on this weekend [22 & 23].

The Moon Festival is celebrated among family and friends with great enthusiasm as the full moon will shine at its brightest. There are many legends surrounding the reason why the moon shines so brightly. The festivity includes mooncakes, paper lanterns, fireworks, lion/dragon dancing and a buffet of food.

Moon cake. A sweet pastry with thick fillings of lotus paste and other ingredients that may include nuts, yolk from salted egg duck, lotus seeds, taro etc.

The celebrations are held at various places including Chinatown, The Chinese Gardens at Darling Harbour or even out west in Cabramatta. So check it out!

Zilver Restaurant

Two weekends ago, I had dinner at Zilver and my gastronomical tastebuds were satisfied

It's one of the best Yum Cha and Chinese restaurants I've ever had... and I'm Chinese myself They have an extra touch of special taste added to their dishes which makes it so yummy and different to other Chinese restaurants.

Ipod with a Magic Touch

Apple has created the new Ipod Touch

Now you can use your gentle fingers and touch the screen to scroll through your music and pictures. It also has Google, Yahoo and YouTube search capabilities.

Even the Ipod Nano has gone cuter The screen got bigger so you can watch videos and play games

And if you wish hard enough, it could be in your Christmas Stocking by the end of the year
