Where: Wentworth Park Sporting Complex (and park) Wentworth Park Road Glebe When: Sunday, 18 May 2008 What: Residents of Glebe/Forest Lodge versus Ultimo/Pyrmont. A day of fun sporting activity involving gumboot throwing, wine glass racing, marbles, Beckham bending also with food, historical displays and music. At noon, the spectacular "Greyhound Racing for Non Greyhounds" gives your humble (i.e. clueless) family dog a chance for racing glory on the track at Wentworth Park. There will be a commemorative Rugby League match honouring the 100th anniversary of the the NRL's first team, the Glebe Dirty Reds. Wear Red for Glebe/Forest Lodge and Blue for Ultimo Pyrmont and help your suburb win the GUP (Glebe Ultimo Pyrmont) Cup. Be part of revitalising the once proud Wentworth Park. 11:00am - 4:30pm.
